Gringo + Q&A with Giles Hardie and Joel Edgerton

Last night I went and saw Gringo followed by Q and A with Giles Hardie and Director Nash Edgerton. I was lucky enough to win a double pass, thanks Event Cinemas.

It’s a great film, so well done! It’s a fast paced action film, crime story that has many twists and turns you don’t see coming. It’s an intelligent action film, with comedy and humour.

I’ll definitely be watching this again, especially as it’s Movie of the week at Event Cinemas meaning $10 tickets!

Directed by Nash Edgerton.

Written by Matthew Stone & Anthony Tambakis.

Starring David Oyelowo, Joel Edgerton, Charlize Theron, Thandie Newton, Amanda Seyfried, Bashir Salahuddin, Glenn Kubota, Melonie Diaz, Harry Treadaway, Theo Taplitz, Paris Jackson, Yul Vazquez, Hernan Mendoza, Ricardo Esquerra, Carlos Corona, Alan Ruck, and Sharlto Copley to name a few.

I thoroughly enjoy the Q and A portion of these events, last nights was no exception. Nash spoke about how he started in the film industry, all the different career hats from Stuntman to Director that he has done and does still.

He also spoke of his Production Company Blue Tongue Films, which he started with his brother and friends.

Here is a link to the Gringo trailer.
