Sicario Day Of The Soldado

The Government sets up an off the books operation to stop the Mexican Drug Cartels smuggling in terrorists across the border. This sees Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) team up with Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro) again.

Similar to the first film Sicario, it makes you question your moral compass. It is an action packed drama with a punch of reality, highlighting the hot social issue of the US Mexican border.

I have to say I wasn’t expecting as much from this film as it was a sequel, to be truthful I just went to see it as I love Benicio Del Toro. Stefano Sollima definitely delivered above and beyond in this film, as did the cast.

Now it’s not for the feint hearted, but if you liked the first film, you’ll love it!

On a side note Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro left the set of the his film to go and film Avengers Infinity War, which made me smile. The characters that Benicio plays in these two films are widely different.

Incredibles 2

Mr Incredible is left home to care for the kids whilst his wife Elastigirl heads out to work as an ambassador for the super heroes to be legal again.

This is a great sequel to the original and stands out well on its own. Great for adults and children alike, definitely worth watching. I’d watch it again in a heartbeat, it’s a light hearted and enjoyable film.
