Step Sisters

The best way to describe this movie is Step Up in college. Jamilah is the president of her sorority and about to go to law school. Then she finds herself secretly teaching another group how to step. Cultures clash, but at the heart of it, friendship and finding your voice triumph.

A nice chick flick, feel good movie. It won’t be winning any prizes. Very watchable, and I’d watch it again, a nice find on Netflix.

Candy Jar

Two high school debaters, cannot stand each other, and have hated each other their whole school career. They have to work together to get into the college of their dreams.

It’s a nice film, nothing outrageous or controversial here. Just a nice movie to watch. I would watch it again, but make sure I have plenty of lollies, as it does make you want something sweet to eat. So if you are looking for an easy comedy to watch on Netflix this is the one.
